My Story
ADHD, Creativity, & Learning to Love My Brain
For years, I felt like I was just bad at being an adult. Why couldn’t I finish things? Why do I jump from obsession to obsession? Why do checklists make me want to scream?
Then I got diagnosed with ADHD (combined type) in my 30s, and suddenly, the puzzle pieces fit. I wasn’t lazy or unfocused—I am wired differently. That realization felt like unlocking a cheat code to my brain. Suddenly, my trail of unfinished projects, deep-dive obsessions, and struggle with checklists made sense. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade those quirks for anything.
Instead of fighting my brain, I’m learning to embrace what makes it unique—and I’m sharing what actually helps (so you don’t have to hyperfocus-research ADHD hacks for 12 straight hours).
